She is inclusive of all family structures, ways of feeding and ways of parenting. She likes to refer to herself as a feeding consultant versus lactation consultant as she supports families who offer human milk, formula or a combination of the two. First visit (Virtual)
$150.00 +HST/ 60 min virtual visit
Secure video feeding consultation to get you to where you want to be. Using your phone, tablet or computer camera I will help you clarify your goals, what may be getting in your way and troubleshoot your most pressing concerns around infant breast/chestfeeding, and/or bottle-feeding or other feeding methods. Azura will leave you with a detailed care plan and relevant, evidence-based resources to support you in achieving your goals. *This service includes one week of text messaging and phone support*.
Follow-up Visit (Virtual)
$95.00 +HST/ 45 min virtual visit
Some more complex issues take more than one session to overcome, and this is where the follow-up virtual visit comes in. We adapt earlier planning to the current situation, learn additional skills and work towards an optimized, sustainable feeding plan and feeding confidence. Some folks appreciate a second visit to consolidate skills, ask additional questions, get baby re-weighed, learn how to integrate bottle-feeding if not yet initiated, etc. etc. *This service includes one week of text messaging and phone support*.
The Second Go
$165 +HST/ 60 min virtual visit
A prenatal session for second, third, etc. time parents who want the knowledge to support them in achieving their feeding goals this time around. This session is supportive of those who breast/chestfeed and those who choose to incorporate bottle feeding into their feeding plan or exclusively bottle feed. Azura sensitively helps you to unpack your last feeding experience and works to create knowledge, confidence and helps to create a detailed plan to manage all possible outcomes for this time around.
This session includes an extensive and comprehensive tailored resource package and unique plan based on your individual feeding goals and plan to support you in the early postpartum and beyond as well as text support during baby’s first week of life.
Prenatal Breast/Chestfeeding Class
$180+ HST/ 120 min virtual visit
This course will be tailored to your family's needs (your specific goals with regards to feeding, your perceived knowledge gaps and to your learning style). Partner or support people are encouraged to attend if available! A detailed and comprehensive learning package will be provided after the session, tailored to your specific goals and needs.
Weaning: Planning and Support
$150 +HST/ 45 min virtual visit with 2 weeks of text support when weaning is initiated
$200 +HST/ 45 min virtual visit with unlimited text support up to 12 months from the time plan is initiated
Getting ready to night-wean, daytime wean, reduce feeds or wean all together? This 45 minute session will get your questions answered and provide guidance on weaning baby sensitively. This session includes a custom weaning plan and text support (2 weeks from the time weaning begins or unlimited for 12 months) to support you with your weaning, adapt the plan if necessary and answer questions along the way.
