Experienced Couples Therapist

We are seeking an additional Psychologist, Psychological Associate, Social Worker or Psychotherapist who has a strong background in perinatal health (or strong commitment to learn) and a strong background in providing Couples Therapy. In-person availability is an asset. Weekend and./or evening availability is a major asset.

Our team is comprised of therapists with excellent training and skills, as well as warmth and compassion. Our focus is on perinatal mental health spanning fertility, coping with loss, pregnancy, postpartum, and the early years of parenting, as well as couples therapy and parenting consultation. We are a collegial team, meeting monthly (virtually) to discuss topics of interest, and available for support. Our compensation is highly competitive, and commensurate with level of experience. Hours and caseload are flexible. We currently provide therapy online only (via secure video platform OWL). We also have beautiful office space located at Yonge and Eglinton, a short walk from the Eglinton Subway station (paid parking available nearby).

Our ideal candidate is:

• Registered Psychologist or Psychological Associate, Registered Psychotherapists, Registered Social Workers

• Experience and knowledge of perinatal mental health strongly preferred (Drs. Waxman and Satin are available for supervision or consultation for keen candidates).

• Competence in providing evidenced-based individual therapy (e.g., CBT, IPT, ACT).

• Competence in providing couples therapy (e.g., EFT, Gottman, CBT)

• Special areas of competence that would benefit our team include: Child Psychology, ADHD, 2SLGBTQ+ focused practice, BIPOC focused practice.
