Jaquie runs a judgement-free practice by meeting parents where they’re at and allowing for autonomy in the decision-making process. Together with parents she creates goals that are specific to their child and works closely with them to accomplish these goals in a way that is most comfortable to the family. Her approach is focused on secure attachment and on providing external support and education to increase parental confidence. Newborn Care Support (aka Virtual Postpartum Doula Support) is for parents of babies 0 - 3 months. Through this service, Jaquie educates parents on newborn care, newborn cues and caring for themselves throughout their postpartum recovery.
Jaquie and her clients work together to determine the routines that work best for their specific baby and the family as a whole. She encourages parents to follow their instincts while educating them on normal newborn behaviours.
