Maryam Moazzami holds a Master of Psychology in Clinical and Counselling Psychology (MPsy) degree from Adler Graduate Professional School and is providing psychological services under the supervision of Dr. Samantha Waxman.

Maryam is passionate about women's mental health, focusing on offering compassionate care to women and couples facing challenges in their most difficult transition years. She assists individuals and couples as they navigate the emotional, psychological, and relational aspects of the journey, from the difficulties of conception, loss, pregnancy, and birth, to the complexities of the postpartum period. Maryam is a mother of two young sons, ages 5 and 2.

She conducts her therapy sessions from an integrative approach utilizing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) framework for individuals and Emotion Focused Therapy for couples and Gottman Method Couples Therapy informs her couples therapy practice. She provides support to individuals and couples at any stage of the reproductive journey, assisting them in managing challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, loss, parenting and life transitions. She has completed the Perinatal Mood Disorders certificate training through Postpartum Support International.

Maryam offers sessions virtually (with evening availability) and in-person.
