The Well Parents Centre is an innovative prenatal and postpartum mental health centre located in Toronto, with virtual services available across Ontario.
We support parents and parents-to-be across the reproductive stages including trying to conceive, coping with loss, pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting.
We help you feel well and parent well.
Our team includes experienced and highly trained registered psychologists, registered social workers, registered psychotherapists, and registered nurses, who care deeply about supporting clients through the reproductive stages. We offer confidential, professional care with empathy and compassion.
We work with clients through the stages of trying to conceive, coping with grief and loss (miscarriage, stillbirth, and infant loss), coping with infertility and fertility treatment including IVF, pregnancy and postpartum mental health, the early years of parenting, and beyond.
We provide a variety of services including psychotherapy, couples therapy, family therapy, parenting consultation, lactation & infant feeding consultation, and infant & child sleep consultation.
In our focus on perinatal mental health, we treat mental health challenges including depression and low mood, anxiety (including Panic Disorder, Specific Phobias, Generalized Anxiety Disorder), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), trauma (including birth trauma), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), emotion regulation, and difficult adjustment to parenthood. We also regularly help clients who just want some extra support.
We practice with respect for diversity and we welcome families from all cultural backgrounds, LGBTQIA2S+ parents, single parents, adoptive parents, and all traditional and non-traditional family constellations.
