Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Group for Postpartum Mood and Anxiety

Beginning November 2019.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is an empirically supported treatment for perinatal mood and anxiety. It is short-term and skills-based.

Group therapy offers connection with others, which is so important in the postpartum period to help normalize your experiences. It is a cost effective alternative or supplement to individual therapy.

This group is an 6-week program suitable for parents with babies 1-12 months of age. Babies are welcome to attend. It will be led by Clinical Psychologists Drs. Jillian Satin and Samantha Waxman.

The cost is $390 (no additional taxes) for the 6 week program. The program can be claimed as a psychological service under extended health benefits or as a tax deductible medical expense.

Sessions will run on Fridays 10:30-11:45am beginning November 15, 2019.
